Thought I'd write a new post today. I'm enjoying the idea of a blog and am going to use it in one of my face to face courses this week. I have a small group assignment that I'm going to provide students. After giving them time to work on the assignment, I'm going to have them provide me with an electronic copy. I'll then preview it and post it on the blog for other class members to see and comment on. The final exam will come from the info contained in the blog. What do you think? I'd welcome any comments. Although it's a pretty easy use of a blog, it's my first attempt at using one in a classroom so I thought I'd go easy on myself. If you're interested, take a look at www.hoopersbclass.blogspot.com. Hi, i'm a business student in Brockville Ontario Canada, I just happend across your blog and saw this artical so I thought i'd post a comment. For one of our Marketing assignments we had to create and maintain a blog, the content dosn't really matter, we were being marked on how well we promote the site, how much traffic we generated in a month, how many followers etc. But everyone in the class found the assignment very interesting and educational, and i think your class you enjoy it was well, so I hope you give it a try.
